Mike has considerable expertise in the Commercial Trucking Industry. He was instrumental in building several Fixed-Operation Initiatives during his tenure at Rush Enterprises, Inc., where he headed their Fixed-Operations Division, overseeing both the Navistar and Peterbilt divisions for over 20 years.
He was responsible for developing and integrating the Rush Centralized Warranty Center and Strategy, Rush Technician Skills Rodeo, RushCare Call Center and Customer Care Strategy, to name a few. Mike started his career with Rush Enterprises, Inc. when the company had 9 locations. He left with over 110 locations and decades of experience in Acquisition and Integration Strategies.
Mike brings comprehensive intelligence in Fixed-Operation Business Analytics, Compensation Structures, Sales Strategies, Turn-Arounds and Business Rebuilds, KPI Integration, Mentoring Programs and Creating Healthy Business Mix Analysis. Mike has held various Senior Leadership positions, including President of Polar Service Centers and President/CEO of Peterbilt Truck Centers. Mike currently serves as Advisor to the Board of Directors for Dobbs Management, which owns/operates multiple different OEM On and Off-Highway Commercial Dealerships.

Fred is an Advisor/ Consultant specializing in Executive and General Management, Business Development, Leadership, Operations, Sales and Marketing for Heavy and Medium Duty OEM Truck Dealerships for more than 15 years.
Prior to working in the OEM Truck Dealership sector, Fred held extensive Business Development and Technical Management roles for 14 years in the environmental industry with a specific focus on hazardous and nuclear waste security and disposal.
Fred began his career in the OEM Truck Dealership industry with Rush Truck Centers in 2006 as Outside Parts and Service Sales Manager. In 2008, Fred was promoted to Service Manager and grew the Service Department in 2008 from a $4 million budget to $21 million in actual revenues in 2016. In 2017, Fred added a new role to his resume as Business Development Manager at a small private mobile service company. In less than one year, revenues increased by $550,000 per month. Early in 2018, he accepted a new challenge and position as General Manager for a Freightliner Dealership group. In Fred’s short time there, revenues grew by 22%.
During the last 15 years, Fred has completed a wide variety of dealership training and certifications for all roles within a Dealership Group. Fred realized there were numerous companies and employees that no one invested in, to provide necessary training or that were given the tools to be successful. This became Fred’s passion, his desire to take what he has learned over the past 30+ years and invest in others who want to be successful as well.
In late 2018, Fred partnered with Besson Consulting and has played an instrumental role in developing our clientele to their fullest financial and development potential. Fred is currently interim COO for a client. Our approach in much different than most and begins with the very basics. Starting at ground level and working upwards, evaluating all past and current operations, revenues, expenses, policies, procedures, flow, communication, training, employees and our client’s customer base to determine the correct course of action or KPI’s. Fred firmly believes, anything broken can be fixed once our clients and their employees are personally invested and taught how to follow successful industry standards.
Fred was raised in Monrovia, CA. He graduated from The University of La Verne in 1993 with a BS Degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. Fred moved to New Braunfels, TX in 1999 to be closer to his family. He has been married 18 years to his wife Jeri Lynn and together they have four children. Fred is passionate about drag racing, RVing, camping and enjoying life.

Dustin is an Advisor/Consultant specializing in Service Operations and Warranty Operations for Heavy and Medium Duty OEM Truck Dealerships.
Dustin began his career in the OEM Truck Dealership with Rush Truck Centers in 2016 as Warranty Administrator.
Dustin began his career in the commercial truck business at Rush Truck Center and then moved on to Freightliner. Dustin is very well versed in customer service, warranty processes and repair order paper flow. During the last 5 years, Dustin has completed a wide variety of dealership training courses along with completing a variety of warranty certifications.
In 2018, Dustin joined Besson Consulting as a leader in service and is currently working with a dealership group in the Northeast where he has been consulting full time for the last year. He analyzed their profit and loss performance, measured the P&L against current and past industry standards, and developed and action plan that resulted in a more efficient, profitable operation. Dustin was instrumental in restructuring the staff, increasing labor sales, increasing gross profit and increasing warranty labor sales. These combined experiences have turned Dustin into a talented ground consultant.
Dustin was raised in New Braunfels, TX. He Graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS Degree in Agricultural Leadership and Development. His interests include sports, camping, hunting, fishing, playing guitar and listening to music.
Service, Operations, Safety, and Parts Consultant
Jose is an Advisor / Consultant specializing in Service and Parts Operations, Mobile Service, Safety and DOT Compliance, Fleet Management, and Troubleshooting at Heavy and Medium Duty OEM Dealerships and independent shops across the US for over 20 years.
Starting in 1999 Jose began as a technician for his extended family at their diesel repair shop in Atascosa, TX. He soon transitioned into the office and created a repair order system for billing and a filing system to track invoices. In 2004 he accepted an opportunity to work an entry level position at Rush Truck Centers in San Antonio, TX. , while recognizing the potential for advancement and experience with the largest dealer in North America .
In the 15 years with Rush, Jose took on the following challenges: warehouse manager, front and back parts counter, service advisor, mobile service coordinator, service supervisor/foreman, safety coordinator, DOT compliance, fleet management, and physical security management. Also, during that time Jose received ASE Certification for Heavy Duty Diesel Technician and Parts Specialist, a Class A CDL, various TEEX Certified Safety and Health Official courses on his way to full CSHO Certification, and PEC Safeland Certification among many others. Jose also has completed training courses through various OEMs such as Isuzu, Freightliner, Cummins, and Peterbilt.
In 2018, Jose left Rush to pursue a small business venture full time that he started in 2014 that includes trucking, mobile truck washing, and mobile truck repair/diagnostics. He partnered with Besson Consulting after being referred to them by his former service manager Fred Scott and assists with hands on leadership and service consulting to managers, foremen, service advisors, porters, and technicians alike.
Jose was born and raised on the South Side of San Antonio, TX and lives in the neighborhood he grew up in with his wife of 9 years Gracie with their two daughters Lupita and Rosita.
